I have developed the skills needed to work well with a team in an educational or professional setting and I have developed a basic knowledge of social media marketing which can help benefit me in a future job as the demand for social media marketing grows with the influence of social media. I also got the wonderful experience of learning about cultures other than my own as two of my teammates were from India, I learned about their school system, system of currency, and culture which can help benefit me in nurturing my overall worldly knowledge.
Just completed a 4-week long Entrepreneurship Virtual Internship at GlobalShala and I must say, it was a delightful 4 weeks. Learnt a lot about startups and how they begin, manage finances, choose their core team and go about their advertising, by interviewing entrepreneurs themselves. Thank you Anushika Jain for this wonderful experience. Looking forward to taking part in several such programs and internships!
Throughout the course of the internship, I gained many new skills; the most important being the ability to work with a diverse team. I also got the opportunity to explore what an employee in the field of digital marketing does on a daily basis and how important the growing field is to the success of a company. Thus, all these new skills that I gained will help me be a more appealing applicant to future employers and universities, as well as help me become a more well rounded leader in my community.
