Unlocking the Potential Benefits of Becosules Capsules

Becosules capsules

Becosules capsules are vitamin B capsules used to fulfil deficiencies of, or increased requirements for, Vitamin B-complex, and Vitamin C. This capsule fulfils the nutrient deficiency in those who eat less due to low appetite, diabetes, being overweight, or drinking too much alcohol. It is also good for those who don’t absorb vitamins well because of taking antibiotics for a long time, having ongoing diarrhoea, or having chronic stomach problems. It also fills nutritional deficiencies during fever, infections, surgery, burns, or broken bones. It is also prescribed in conditions like mouth sores, tongue inflammation, cracked lips, strange bodily sensations, nerve pain, and skin problems. It can also be taken in pregnancy and breastfeeding when recommended by a doctor.

What is the composition of Becosules capsules?

The main vitamins in Becosules capsules are:

  • Thiamine (Vitamin B1)
  • Riboflavin (Vitamin B2)
  • Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6)
  • Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C)
  • Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12)
  • Niacinamide (Vitamin B3)
  • Calcium pantothenate (Vitamin B5)

What is the daily dose of Becosules capsules?

The daily dose of Becosules capsules is typically one capsule per day. However, it’s important to follow the dosage instructions provided by your doctor. They may adjust the dosage based on your individual needs and medical condition. Always follow their guidance for the safest and most effective use of the medication.

What are the safety precautions while taking Becosules capsules?

Follow these safety tips while taking Becosules capsules:

  • It should be used alongside specific therapy for the underlying illness causing the deficiency or increased requirement of Vitamin B-complex and Vitamin C.
  • Treatment with Becosules capsules should only continue until the deficiency is corrected or there’s a continued need for supplementation.
  • Pyridoxine in Becosules capsules may reduce the effectiveness of levodopa in Parkinson’s disease. When taking these medicines simultaneously, take caution.
  • Riboflavin in Becosules capsules may cause the urine to appear yellow in colour.
  • During treatment with Becosules capsules, the presence of ascorbic acid may cause a false positive result for sugar in urine when using Benedict’s test. Therefore, an alternative test unaffected by ascorbic acid should be used.
  • In pernicious anaemia, folic acid in Becosules capsules may correct anaemia but could potentially worsen neurological symptoms. Be cautious when taking this capsule for pernicious anaemia.

Which medicine should not be taken with Becosules capsules?

Be cautious when taking Becosules capsules with the following medications:

  • Riboflavin absorption could be affected by a medicine called propantheline bromide, used for treatment of excessive sweating, cramps or spasms of the stomach, intestines or bladder, and involuntary urination.
  • Pyridoxine hydrochloride can cancel out the effects of a medicine called levodopa, which is used for Parkinson’s disease.
  • Some medicines like aminoglycoside antibiotics, colchicine, and certain anti-seizure medicines can reduce how much Vitamin B12 your body absorbs.
  • Prednisone, a corticosteroid, might help the body absorb Vitamin B12 better in some people with pernicious anaemia, but we’re not sure how important this is.
  • Taking chloramphenicol along with Vitamin B12 could reduce the body’s response to Vitamin B12 in people who are deficient in it. Doctors should monitor these patients closely and consider using different medicines.
  • Niacin could make certain blood pressure medicines work stronger.

Can Pregnant women take Becosules capsules?

Yes, pregnant and lactating women can take Becosules capsules, but it’s important for them to follow the recommended dosage advised by their physician. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, women’s vitamin requirements may increase, so it’s essential to ensure they are getting adequate nutrition to support their own health and the health of their baby.

You can get a Becosules capsule from an online medical store. But if you are pregnant, make sure to discuss it with the doctor, as your nutritional needs during pregnancy may vary.

What is the best time to take Becosules capsules?

The best time to take Becosules capsules is with or shortly after meals. It can help minimise stomach upset and enhance absorption of the vitamins and minerals in the capsule. Prefer taking this multivitamin supplement in the morning to start your day with a boost of essential nutrients.
